Six more SHC judges take oath, brings total strength to 39

KARACHI: Six judges including a lady judge on Tuesday took oath as the Sindh High Court (SHC) additional judges.

The SHC Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh administered the oath to Justice Kausar Sultana, Justice Irshad Ali, Justice Agha Faisal, Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry, Justice Amjad Ali and Justice Shamsuddin Abbasi in a ceremony held at SHC.

The number of SHC judges has now risen to 39 against the sanctioned strength of 40.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by SHC judges, the provincial law officer, the office bearers of bar associations and senior lawyers.
