LAHORE: Leaders of religio-political and Kashmiri parties on Monday dubbed the Indo-Israel recently signed agreements a conspiracy to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement and to destabilise Balochistan.

Addressing the Kashmir Conference held at Istanbul Chowk, organised by Difae Pakistan Council (DPC), they said, “Friendship with Modi and solidarity with Kashmiris cannot run parallel. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified because he betrayed the Kashmiris.”

Ameer Jamatud Dawa (JuD) Hafiz Muhammad Saeed urged rulers and opposition parties to adopt Quaid-e-Azam’s stance on Kashmir.

“Quaid-e-Azam called Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif should tell the nation who is shedding blood in Jammu-Kashmir? All politicians should stand with the Kashmiris,” he said.

He accused Modi of seeking help from the Israeli PM to suppress the freedom struggle of the Kashmiris. “India has made dangerous plans with the help of Israel, against Pakistan’s security. The Modi government has failed in Kashmir. Secret agreements have been signed regarding Balochistan. These issues cannot be ignored. We have to protect the homeland at all costs. Those who have their evil eyes on Pakistan will not be tolerated.”

He praised all the religio-political parties for raising their voice for the Kashmir cause.

He asked PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to protest in the UN till the implementation of the UN resolutions.

He further said, “Nawaz Sharif said in Muzaffarabad that he had been disqualified in Pakistan but was qualified in Kashmir. I say if you are disqualified in Pakistan then you are even more disqualified in Kashmir. Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified because he was disqualified in Kashmir.”

He asked Nawaz to stand with the Kashmiris for their freedom.

Secretary General Jamaat e Islami (JI) Liaqat Baloch called Pakistan the heartbeat of the Muslim world. He said that Pakistan is a capable nuclear power. “Our rulers remain oblivious over the Kashmir issue, but the Pakistani nation expresses solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren. Kashmir is the issue of human rights,” he said.

President Dukhtan-e-Millat Syeda Aasia Andrabi called Pakistan incomplete without Kashmir, adding that Kashmir’s freedom is necessary to complete Pakistan.

“The blood of thousands of Kashmiris has been added to the struggle for a free Kashmir. Kashmiris are fighting for the completion of Pakistan and it has continued since 1940 when the Pakistan resolution was passed. We the Kashmiris are as Pakistanis as you are,” she said.

Blaming Pakistani rulers and politicians for their criminal negligence, she said that Kashmir is burning. People of Pakistan are duty-bound to take the freedom movement to its logical end. India has deployed an army of millions in Kashmir and has divested the freedom of the people.

President Hadyatul Hadi Pakistan Pir Syed Haroon Ali Gilani said that the heedlessness of our rulers is regrettable.

Ameer Ansarul Ummah Moulana Fazalul Rehman Khalil vowed to continue the struggle till Kashmir’s freedom.

“Kashmir’s freedom struggle is our religious and national duty. The Pakistani nation would never compromise over the Kashmir issue,” he added.

Muslim League-Functional Vice Chairman Muhammad Ali Durrani urged the ruling party to set its priorities while keeping in view Pakistan’s ideology. “Today, Kashmir has become a stipulation of completion of Pakistan and it is the success of Hafiz Mohammad Saeed.

Ameer Jamiatul Mujahideen Kashmir General Abdullah insisted to unite over the ideology of Pakistan regardless of linguistic and provincial prejudices. He said that all Muslims are like a single body, and the whole Ummah should feel the Kashmiris’ pain.

Ameer Jamiat Ahlehadith Allama Ibtisam Ellahi Zaheer said that every constitution of the world gives Kashmiris the right to freedom, but the Kashmir issue has been neglected by the UN.
