ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal has reiterated his firm resolve to make appointments in the NAB on provincial quota allocations as per law.
Immediately after assuming of responsibilities as NAB Chairman, Iqbal in his first address to NAB officers had assured that appointments in NAB will be made strictly on merit and no province would be deprived of its provincial quota while hiring.
In the light of the above commitment, NAB has decided to advertise the vacant posts of director, additional director, and assistant director as per the provincial quota of Balochistan in NAB. Whereas the vacant posts of other provinces including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Punjab will also be filled on merit and provincial quota.
The merit-based appointments would not only help enhance the performance of NAB but also contribute in eliminating the sense of deprivation in some provinces.
