LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday took notice of the death of a 20-year-old biker, whose throat was slit by a kite string in the Neekapur area of Sialkot.
The chief minister expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
He sought a report from the Sialkot DPO and suspended the city DSP and SHO of the Neekapur police station.
CM Shehbaz directed that a departmental action be taken against the suspended, and said the ban on kite-flying should be implemented strictly. He also said that a stern legal action should be taken against the violators.
