Imran Khan, Zardari reach Lahore

 

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Asif Ali Zardari reached Lahore on Saturday.

Imran participated in a meeting of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital’s board and also chaired a party meeting at Jehangir Tareen’s residence. The party’s strategy for the forthcoming Senate elections was discussed in the meeting.

Chaudhry Sarwar, Jehangir Tareen, opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmoodur Rashid, Sibtain Khan, Aleem Khan and other leaders participated in the meeting. The meeting also discussed the overall political situation of the country.

Earlier, when a reporter asked Imran whether he would appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khan said, “I am very dangerous and very bad.”
