Rangers nab 19 including six ‘gangsters’ 

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested 19 alleged criminals including six Lyari gang war members during search operations in different parts of the metropolis.

According to Rangers’ spokesman, a team carried out a targeted raid in Lyari areas and arrested six gang war members including Shafi, Faizan, Zubair, Israr, and Naveed.

The gangsters were said to be involved in target killings, extortion, drug peddling and other crimes.

Separately, paramilitary forces conducted search operations in Bahadurabad and Gulberg areas and apprehended two political parties allegedly linked to MQM-Londo and MQM-Haqiqi.

During snap checking in Gizri, Malir and Bahadurabad, the Rangers arrested six street criminals including Sabir Jan, Tariq, Faizan, Faiz, Abdul Aziz.

Rangers nabbed four drug peddlers from Docks and Gulberg areas.

The Rangers also recovered weapons, bullets, motorcycles, cell phones and drugs from their possession.
