LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaquat Baloch and JI Punjab Secretary General Ameer Mian Maqsood Ahmad called on Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence on Friday and assured support of the PML-Q candidate of Senate from Punjab Assembly Senator Kamil Ali Agha at the request of the PML-Q leaders.
Views regarding the prevailing political situation in the country and future political strategies were also discussed during the meeting.
Leaders of both the political parties expressing complete solidarity with the Kashmiris in the Indian-occupied Kashmir, extended full support for them and condemned the brutalities and atrocities of the occupying Indian forces in the strongest words. They said that the international community should uphold the promises made with the oppressed Kashmiris on the floor of the United Nations (UN).
Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi on assuring support for Senator Ali Agha expressed gratefulness to the JI Chief Sirajul Haq and other JI leaders.
