ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi on Monday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials, along with all his financial records, because of his name in Panama Papers.

He was directed by NAB to appear before it, as a part of NAB’s inquiries against politicians whose names had appeared in the Panama Papers.

On January 29, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan— after appearing before NAB on Jan 29— claimed that his company was not named in the list of offshore companies in the Panama Papers.

The PTI leader has also been facing a probe for his alleged involvement in the Park View Housing Society Lahore scam.
