MARDAN: Driving forward its mission to cater to the transportation needs of a maximum number of people in the country, Careem Pakistan launched its services in Mardan on Tuesday, making it the 13th city of the country where Careem now provides affordable and comfortable conveyance services to its users.
Located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mardan is the second largest city of the province after Peshawar and boasts a population of 2.3 million people. With the services operational in the city, Careem will cater to all the sections of the society, especially the working class, and will also help create more jobs, leading to economic growth in the city, and eventually, in the region.
Moreover, the captains driving with Careem go through extensive vetting processes to be eligible. These include complete and detailed paperwork and document submission, and harassment and safety training.
On the occasion, Careem Pakistan KP General Manager Momina Asad Rajput said, “We have received an amazing response in Peshawar and Abbottabad for Careem. Now with Mardan also offering safe and easy commute and many other cities to be added to the chart, the service is at the forefront of making KP even more progressive and inclusive.”
“Our mission is to make people’s lives simpler by providing a variety of convenient transportation solutions that respond to local needs. We tailor our services to ensure we offer convenient options that have a meaningful impact on the local population. We seek to revolutionise travelling, not only in metro cities but in as many places as possible,” said Careem Pakistan Managing Director Junaid Iqbal.
