QUETTA: A 13-year-old girl, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Quetta, was murdered by her own brother, according to reports.
The body of the teenager was found in her house in the Killi Ismail area of Quetta. She was rushed to the nearby hospital where the doctors had confirmed that there was an attempt at raping her before she was strangled to death.
According to reports, the victim’s brother confessed to the as soon as the investigation began. After arresting the suspect, his blood samples as well as pieces of evidence were sent to a forensic laboratory.
A special team led by SSP Investigation Jawad Tariq has been deployed to further investigate the murder.
Taking notice of the incident, the Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had ordered the police to arrest the culprit within 48 hours.
