ISLAMABAD: A Canadian National was arrested at Benazir Bhutto International Airport for trying to smuggle drugs outside the country.
According to Customs officials, the Canadian national, identified as Brian, had carefully hidden heroin and ‘ice’ worth Rs15 million inside shoes and was attempting to smuggle it to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
A case has been registered against the suspect and investigations are underway.
