ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) is finalising a plan to install garbage electricity generation plant at a suitable place in the federal capital.
An official of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) said, “A proposal is under consideration of CDA to install a plant for generating electricity from garbage.” He added that the project was in its planning phase and after undertaking the requisite feasibility, the project would be launched.
He also said that the location proposed for the installation of the plant is in Sector I-17, which would be an industrial sector.
Responding to a question, he said that proposal for repairing of the main double road from Golra Morr to sector I-16 is under consideration. The construction work will be undertaken after allocation of funds, he added.
