ISLAMABAD: Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage and Information State Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has felicitated the Pakistan cricket team for its astounding victory in the T-20 series against New Zealand and clinching number one position in the ICC ranking.
The minister in a message issued here on Sunday said that it was a proud moment for the entire nation which deserved congratulation for this well-deserved triumph.
She said the Pakistani team had raised the Pakistan flag with a green crescent to dizzying heights in the entire world, which reflected the peaceful and stable face of Pakistan.
Marriuyum said that as a consequence of the bold decisions and steps taken by the incumbent government and unequal sacrifices of the armed forces, law enforcing agencies and police, peace had returned to the country, paving the way for the revival of sports activities in the playing fields around the country.
The minister also said that a shining, determined and developing Pakistan would soon emerge before the comity of nations.
