LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Chief, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees has said that nobody’s honour was safe in the country because of the obscenity and nudity in media programmes and concerted efforts were required to save the youth and future generations.

Addressing the participants of a two-day academic workshop for students at Mansoora, he said that dozens of shameful incidents were taking place in the country every day and it should be a matter of deep concern for the rulers and administration that the culprits remained untraced while their satanic activities kept increasing.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that Zainab’s killer had been arrested; now he should be publicly executed and his body should remain at the gallows for full three days to serve as a deterrent for criminals.

The JI central leader said that the Islamic minded youth should organize themselves to create an awakening against crimes. He said that the ‘separatists and nationalists’ were destroying the peace at the educational campuses while the government and certain elements within the administration were patronising these people.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees also urged the members of the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (JTI), the Jamaat-e-Talaba Arabai (JTA) and the JI Youth to carry a message to each and every young man that Pakistan was a great blessing of Allah and a divine trust.

However, he said, that foreign enemies had infiltrated their agents in society who were trying to create anarchy and promote vulgarity and immorality to achieve their evil designs.
