MARDAN: A nine-year-old was allegedly raped in Kharki area in Mardan here on Sunday, the police said. Following the incident, the police arrested a suspect in the area.
The minor told the police that she was man-signaled by the suspect and then was taken to a sugarcane field before she was sexually abused.
Talking to Geo News, Kharki area’s SHO told that a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the accused and an investigation is underway.
