LAHORE: The Chief Minister Monitoring Force of the School Education Department on Saturday issued a notification banning corporal or other punishments to the students of both government and private schools.
The notification was issued following the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) orders that banned punishing the students of government or private schools by any means.
According to the notification, punishments including hitting a student with hand, a whip, stick, belt or shoe, as well as kicking, shaking or ear-pulling have been banned.
