ISLAMABAD: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control on Friday observed the Indian Republic Day as Black Day in protest against India’s continued brutality against the Kashmiris.
A complete shutdown was observed in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and anti-India rallies/ demonstrations were held all over the world.
The Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, gave the call for observance of the Black Day and shutdown.
Rallies and demonstrations were held at all the Districts and Tehsil headquarters against illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir.
In Muzaffarabad, different political, social and religious organisations held a number of protest demonstrations and rallies to observe the black day.
Kashmir Liberation Cell at Central Press Club Muzaffarabad also held a protest rally. Leaders and representatives of various political parties, social and religious organisations addressed the rally.
