KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi Director-General Altaf Bawany on Thursday conducted ‘Khuli Katchehry’ by receiving and hearing complainants from the public at his between 2 pm and 4 pm. The action was taken in compliance with the orders of NAB chairman issued earlier this week.

A large number of complainants gathered at NAB office and submitted applications regarding corruption cases in various government departments and their grievances against government officials. Most of the complaints were related to the alleged fraud by the government officials working in cooperative societies and who had assets beyond known sources of income.

He assured the complainants to deal the corrupt elements with iron hands and encouraged the public to come forward and file maximum complaints along with preliminary evidence.

Khuli Katchehry will be conducted on last Thursday of each month at NAB office between 2 pm and 4 pm. However, for those members of the public who cannot attend khuli katchehry can send their complaints via email or through the phone on NAB’s official number.
