KOHAT: Advisor to the Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqam said Wednesday that the people who are cursing the parliament have disrespected the peoples’ mandate, adding that these people, after hurling abuses at the supreme body, then proceeded to attend the parliament session.

He said this while addressing a public gathering here. Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq also addressed the gathering.

Muqam said that the real face of Imran Khan had been exposed before the nation, adding that the people would reject Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the next general elections.

He slammed Imran Khan for mismanaging PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that Khan and his party had disrespected the public mandate in the province. He further said that Khan’s silence over Mardan rape and murder incident was highly deplorable.

Moreover, Muqam said that Khan was exhibiting dual standards by raising a hue and cry over the Kasur rape and murder incident, while he did not even bother to visit the bereaved family of a minor girl who was molested and killed in Mardan.

He said that the people of Lahore had rejected the dual standards of Imran Khan and the people of KP would do the same in the upcoming general elections.
