NAROWAL: Some unidentified men on Tuesday kidnapped a class nine girl and tortured her brother for putting up resistance in Narowal.
As per details, a class nine girl was heading towards her school along with her brother when some unknown men kidnapped her in a car and tortured her brother for putting up resistance.
Following the incident, the area residents staged a protest demonstration and blocked Zafarwal Road for traffic resulting in a severe traffic mess. The agitating demonstrators said that police failed in establishing peace in the city, adding that it has now become difficult to send children to schools.
They also demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif take notice of the incident and issue orders for the arrest of the kidnappers.
