Women should serve country after completing education: Rafique Rajwana

MULTAN: Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana on Monday urged parents to let their daughters serve the country after completing their education.

He said that Pakistan had given us a lot and we are supposed to pay it back through tireless service.

Speaking at the 6th convocation of Education University, Multan Campus, the governor said that the country was blessed with countless resources and we should value these blessings to become successful.

He asked teachers to not only educate their children but to also train them according to modern trends. He also said that the incumbent government was taking solid measures to end unemployment in the country.

The governor advised the youth not to be afraid of challenges which they have to face in their practical lives and urged them to tackle the problems with bravery and strength.

He said that all issues related to higher education were conveyed to him by the vice chancellor (VC) and would be resolved at the earliest.

A large number of students, parents, VC Dr Rauf Azam, Principal Shahid Raza, faculty members and others attended the ceremony.
