Three women among four injured in Indian shelling

SIALKOT: Four persons including three women were injured seriously due to unprovoked and intensified mortar shelling by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) in Sialkot border villages, including Karloop-Daallowali and Sucheetgarh, according to Rangers sources.

The sources said that Safooran Bibi, Zeeshan, Asia Bibi and Tanzeela Bibi were present in their house, when several heavy mortar shells, fired by the Indian BSF, hit their houses, injuring them seriously.

The Sialkot Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sialkot Cantt in critical condition.

Punjab Rangers responded immediately and effectively, silencing the enemy guns, according to senior officials of the Punjab Rangers.
