Salman Khan to debut in China with Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Following the amazing response of Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, which earned INR 174 crore in the first three days of the release, Salman Khan now plans to release Bajrangi Bhaijaan there.

Eros International, in association with Chinese film company E Stars Films Ltd, is all set to release Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China on March 2 on more than 8000 screens.

This marks Salman’s debut in China. Eros also shared the new poster for China release on their Twitter account.

Starring Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the story of a speech-impaired Pakistani girl who reaches India by mistake and Salman’s character helps the mute girl get back home in Pakistan.

Bollywood is garnering immense popularity in China and the market there is huge considering the population. Hence, distributors and actors are now turning towards China to generate more profits and business.

Secret Superstar became the second Indian film to top the Chinese box office in less than a year. It also managed to beat Hollywood romance, Forever Young, reported Variety.

Before Secret Superstar, Aamir’s Dangal also released in China on May 5, across an estimated 7,000 screens. Ahead of the release of the movie, Aamir Khan toured Beijing, Shanghai and Changdu to promote his movie. The film broke all records in China previously.
