KARACHI: A local court on Monday awarded a man with life imprisonment for stabbing his three-year-old daughter to death.
The court announced its decision after finding Muhammad Iqbal guilty of killing his daughter Wania.
It was observed that the prosecution established murder charges against the accused beyond any shadow of doubt.
In February 2011, Iqbal stabbed his daughter to death after a quarrel with his wife.
According to prosecutor Abdul Qadeer Memon, Iqbal quarrelled with his wife over domestic issues and lost his temper.
He killed his daughter by stabbing her multiple times and later blamed his wife for the felony.
