Community Centre at Nawabanwala to facilitate public: Rana Sana

FAISALABAD: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan on Monday laid the foundation stone of Community Centre at Nawabanwala PP-70 near Samanabad which will be completed at a cost of Rs 25 million.

Addressing the ceremony, he said the Community Centre would be established to provide facilities to local residents for holding their social events and other gatherings.

He said that available state land was being utilised for the uplift projects of public welfare by saving the properties from the land mafia.

The minister said that record development projects had been completed in the sectors of education, health, sewage and water supply, besides rehabilitation of public parks and providing street lights and sports facilities to the citizens.

He further said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had set the best standard of development and a large number of development projects had been completed across the province for the provision of basic amenities to the public.

He said that political opponents were afraid of the rapid development being carried out by PML-N and they were creating hurdles to stop the development process in the country.

Moreover, Rana Sana said that conspiracies against the progress of Pakistan would be foiled and the present government would continue the journey of development without being bothered by politics of sit-ins and agitation.

He said PML-N would win the next general elections on the basis of its performance. He advised the political workers to forge unity among their ranks and keep close contact with the public to address their problems.

Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Zubair Hussain, Union Council Chairmen Arshid Siddiqui, Chaudhry Sajid Jutt, Dr Ilyas Malik, Muhammad Suhail, Mian Tanvir Aftab, Anwar Jogi and a large number of party workers were also present in the event.
