SHEIKHUPURA: Federal Minister for Defence Production and Science Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain has alleged that a ‘troika’ consisting of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Zardari, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is trying to spread anarchy in the country.
Addressing a Sui-Gas supplying ceremony held here Sunday in NA 132, he said that sit-ins, protests, lockdown and politics of confrontation were continued from the last four years, adding that conspirators are the enemies of the national progress and prosperity.
Tanveer said people of Lahore proved their love for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif by not participating in the public meeting of the opposition. He said those receiving millions of rupees from the Parliament are abusing it today. He said increasing popularity graph of PML-N has perturbed PTI, PPP and other opposition parties.
He claimed that record development projects were launched by his party PML-N, saying it was difficult to find an example of such projects in the past.
“We will respond to the abuses hurled by opponents by serving the people and the country,” he added.
The minister said Pakistan wanted exemplary relations with its neighbours, adding the rigidity of India was the main obstacle in establishing peace in the region. He said India must not consider Pakistan’s wish for peace as its weakness. He said Indian forces were targeting citizens at the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary through unprovoked firing, which is intolerable.
The PML-N leader said that work on CPEC projects is continued with full pace, adding this project would be completed soon. “Not only Pakistan but other regions would also get advantage from this project,” he added.
He justified that the movement of Nawaz Sharif was only for the sanctity of vote and restoration of justice.
He recalled that PML-N chief was exiled in the past for making the country nuclear power, while now he is being punished for economic progress.
He said entire nation was standing with Nawaz. He boasted that PML-N would form a government in all provinces.
