CM Shehbaz, Sindh governor discuss political situation

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair on Saturday discussed the current political situation in the country, besides censuring the language used against parliament by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and leaders.

Shehbaz Sharif said the attitude of those, who had insulted the parliament, was against democratic norms. They were the same elements who had multiplied the problems of people through sit-ins, he maintained.

He said that politics is a name of selfless public service, but undemocratic actions of some have caused huge loss to the nation.

“We should work together to move the country forward, and differences should be set aside to make the country stronger and greater”, he added.

Governor Zubair said that the CM has served the province in real terms and the measures were taken by him are role model for other provinces. The CM was making untiring efforts for the people of Punjab, he added.

Member National Assembly (MNA) Ayaz Ali Sherazi, former MNA Shafqat Sherazi and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thatha President Hanif Memon were also present in the meeting.
