KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Food and Parliamentary Affairs Nisar Ahmed on Friday assured that efforts would be made to get youth policy approved by the provincial assembly of Sindh as soon as possible.
He stated this while responding to a call attention notice raised by Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Naheed Begum during the assembly session here.
He said that the youth is our asset, and programmes devised in the policy will help them come forward for the development of a better society.
Earlier, Naheed Begum pointed out that a policy regarding the youth was formulated by then MQM minister Faisal Sabzwari but it could not be executed. The policy was prepared comprehensively to make the youth of the province useful members in terms of engaging them in various positive activities.
