KARACHI: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) in an early morning exercise on Friday arrested 17 Indian fishermen and confiscated three boats after being found involved in illegal fishing in violation of international sea borders.
The Indian fishermen were found fishing in the open sea, demarcated as Pakistani territory, and were apprehended by PMSA personnel during routine patrolling. They were later handed over to the police to initiate a judicial procedure.
