LAHORE: Shera Kot investigation police busted a gang, comprising mobile thieves/snatchers and IT experts, and arrested three of its members, and recovered costly mobile phones worth thousands of rupees and illegal weapons from their possession.
Iqbal Town SP Investigation Asadur Rehman and Iqbal Town SP Operations Raja Umer Farooq told a press conference held at Muslim Town police station here Thursday that the accused have been identified as Liaquat, Sajjad and Suleman.
The police recovered 63 mobile phones whose software had been unaltered, a motorcycle and a pistol from them.
The gangsters confessed to committing 35 mobile-phone robberies in various areas of the city.
