ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sought the list of property owners from the CDA to detect tax evaders.
According to media reports, FBR like last year has once again asked the CDA to provide the list of property owners, enabling it to detect tax non-filers. The list should contain the information including the address of property, name, the current address of the property’s owner, NIC number, the transfer date of the property and the cost at which the property was transferred.
Media reports further said that FBR has also sought the list of owners of 48 buildings located in three posh sectors of Islamabad including E-7, F-7 and F-8.
