RAWALPINDI: A man identified as Muhammad Ishaq molested an eight-year-old girl after abducting her from her house in the jurisdiction of the Sohawa police station on Thursday.
Muhammad Saleem, a resident of Theikrian Deena filed an application at the Sohawa police station stating that Muhammad Ishaq, a resident of Iqbal Town area of Deena, abducted her eight-year-old daughter Samra from his house, took her to an abandoned place and raped her.
The girl managed to escape and told her family the whole story.
The police have registered a case under article PPC376 against the accused.
It is pertinent to mention here that almost two weeks ago, a seven-year-old was on her way back home from a tuition centre when she was kidnapped, raped and murdered. The minor’s body was later recovered from a heap of garbage.
