Two police officials injured in cracker blast in Chaman

QUETTA: Three people, including two police constables, were injured on Wednesday as a cracker explosion hit a Frontier Corps (FC) vehicle near Edhi Chowk in Chaman, Balochistan.

The injured, identified as Constables Allah Gul, Rozi Khan and civilian Atta Ullah, were shifted immediately to the nearby District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Chaman.

No casualties were reported in the explosion.

In December 2017 a seven-year-old child was killed and two others injured in an explosion outside the Christian Colony in Chaman. The child killed in the blast was identified as Lucky Saleem. The injured child, Vishal Vikram, was moved to the Chaman Hospital for medical treatment.

Police had launched an investigation into the incident. The attack was condemned by the then Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Khan Zehri.
