PESHAWAR: A transgender was shot in the face in the Pahandu area on Wednesday receiving severe injuries, and was shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH).
Abid, who is also known as Sonia, received a bullet in her face which is still stuck in her throat, Express Tribune quoted KTH official’s statement.
The police, after lodging a First Information Report (FIR), said the initial investigation suggests that the victim quarrelled with her paramour that resulted in escalation. During the argument, Sonia was shot by her paramour after which she was immidietely taken to the hospital.
