LAHORE: A team of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday conducted a raid on a house at Harbancepura Road near the Railway Phatak here and arrested two alleged terrorists and recovered hand grenades and explosive from their possession.
According to CTD spokesman, the terrorists have been identified as Amjad Khan and Daood Khan belonged to the Jamat-ul-Ahrar, a banned militant outfit. The suspects had conducted recce and were planning to launch attack on security checkpoints in the provincial capital. Further Investigation is underway.
