KECH: At least five security personnel were martyred and six others were injured in a gun attack which toppled a vehicle carrying security personnel near Kech district of Balochistan on Monday.
According to sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on security convoy near Shapook area of the district. As a result, one of the vehicles in the convoy turned turtle after the attack, killing five personnel.
It wasn’t immediately clear which security force the personnel belonged to.
The martyred and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
More security personnel were called to the area to apprehend the culprits involved in the ambush.
