MANSEHRA: Police on Sunday in Mansehra arrested a youth who strangled his sister over domestic disputes.
The accused reportedly tried to make the incident look like a suicide attempt in order to hide his wrongdoing.
Police said that the accused exchanged hot words with his sister Neelum over domestic issues before strangling her to death.
The family of girl tried to declare the incident as a suicide and refused to conduct a postmortem.
However, the police over suspicion shifted the body to a hospital where postmortem of the girl was conducted. The postmortem report revealed that the girl was in fact murdered.
The brother of the girl identified as Shehzad admitted committing the murder during an investigation after being arrested by the police.
