After Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Madhuri Dixit Nene, rumour is that Kajol is all set to have her wax statue there. If it happens Kajol will be the eighth Bollywood actor to have her wax image done at the Madame Tussauds in London.
Madame Tussauds in London is one of the most popular wax museum and it is an honour for celebrities to be featured there. Aamir Khan is the only one who supposedly refused the offer of having his own wax image there.
According to sources, “It (Kajol’s statue) happened a few months ago and an announcement is expected to be made this year with the unveiling of her image. A team from Madame Tussauds has already met Kajol for her measurements and discussed the look and styling that her wax statue will have in London.”
“Kajol has been awarded the Padma Shri and is one of India’s highest paid and most successful actresses with many awards under her belt. She has also been actively involved in several philanthropic endeavours (including education), related to women and children. So yes, it’s high time that Kajol is also seen in Madame Tussauds.”
Amitabh Bachchan was the first Indian star to be waxed at the Madame Tussauds in London, followed by his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Shah Rukh Khan was the third, followed by Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Though Kareena got her wax statue in 2011, it later got restyled in 2015 and was unveiled in Madame Tussauds, Singapore.
