GUJRANWALA: A minor child died after he fell into an open manhole outside his residence on Sunday.
According to details, a three-year-old child was playing outside his residence located in Muhafi Wala area of Gujranwala, when he fell into an opened manhole and died instantly.
The local people on self-help basis pulled out the body and shifted it to hospital.
The dwellers of the area protested against the administration for not covering the manhole despite repeated complaints.
