CHICHAWATNI: At least 11 people received burn injuries when a fire broke out in a passenger van here on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the incident took place near Klaira Canal at Chichawatni-Kamalia Road. The van caught fire due to a leakage in the CNG gas cylinder, they added.
As a result, at least 11 people, including five women and three children, received burn injuries. Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the eight injured to Nishtar Hospital Multan, while three injured were shifted to the THQ Hospital Chichawatni.
