CJP to launch long-awaited judicial reforms initiative

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mr Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken the initiative to launch the drastically needed and long-awaited judicial reforms by visiting the Mazar-e-Quaid on Saturday where he offered Fatiha and prayed for the success, tranquillity and stability of Pakistan.

He pledged to take the judicial reforms to fruition expeditiously so that the general public begins to reap the benefits of this initiative as soon as possible.

The CJP visited Mazar-e-Quaid without any protocol or security. No traffic was interrupted and neither were the roads were blocked for traffic.

Later, in the evening, the CJP presided over the concluding session of the 3rd Provincial Judicial Conference 2018 arranged by the Sindh Judicial Academy.

The CJP is expected to spend busy days in the Supreme Court Branch Registry Karachi where he will hear different public interest litigations. He will also chair all Pakistan Chief Justices Conference to launch judicial reforms today.
