ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday agreed to work together to take bilateral relations to further heights.
In a meeting, National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua and UAE Ambassador to Islamabad Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi agreed to enhance engagements to promote bilateral relations.
NSA Janjua said Pakistan and UAE have most cherish relationship blessed with a close bond of common faith and solid friendship and paid tribute to late UAE leader Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan who was a great leader.
The ambassador said he has been undertaking a number of visits to different parts of Pakistan, including Punjab, Sindh and tribal areas to explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
In coming days, he said he would be visiting Karachi to explore more opportunities for investments and on-going cooperation.
The ambassador reaffirmed UAE’s commitment to extend all possible support and assistance to Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
