KARACHI: Rich tributes were paid to the late Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui, a former governor and chief justice of Pakistan, on his first death anniversary.
In a statement on Thursday, Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair lauded the contributions of the late Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui as the chief justice of Pakistan and governor of Sindh.
Zubair further said that his services would be long remembered. Late Siddiqui was a true Pakistani and always worked for the cause of the country, added the governor.
Zubair also said that late Siddiqui rendered commendable services as a jurist, the chief justice of the country as well as the governor of Sindh.
