ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain, while meeting with Aga Khan University (AKU) President Firoz Rasul at the President House, on Wednesday, said that promotion of the education sector in the country can ensure sustainable development.
The president appreciated AKU’s contribution in the education sector and said that “AKU is rendering commendable services in the education sector, which will produce specialists in different walks of life in the next few years.”
He further commented that such experts will help accelerate the pace of national development in the future, which will raise the living standards of the people.
AKU Vice President Al-Karim Haji and Pakistan Ismaili National Council President Hafiz Sher Ali were also present in the meeting.
