LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan will visit Kasur tomorrow and would go to the residence of deceased Zainab who was killed after rape.
He will also meet the families of Shoaib and Faizan who lost their lives in police firing in Kasur. PTI president central Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan said the rape incident has again proved the incapability and inefficiency of the Punjab government, and PTI has decided to take the issue seriously. He said that the PTI central Punjab chapter has given the directions to the local leaders of Kasur district to carry out protests at the local level and put in all their efforts to pressurise the district administration to arrest the culprits as early as possible. Aleem said that the present rulers have nothing to do with the lives and properties of the masses and they are only concerned with their own interests. He said that now the ousted prime minister is nowhere to demand justice for innocent Zainab, who lost her life only because of the poor law and order situation.
He said that this murder is an open challenge for the so-called good governance after which two more lives have been claimed due to the uncalled firing by the police which has recalled the Model Town incident. He also said that there practically is no law all over Punjab and the focus of the rulers is only to launch self-styled mega projects which can give them political mileage. He said that this Kasur incident would be the last nail in the coffin of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government and now they would have to go for good.
