KARACHI: Provincial Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while taking serious notice of the early collection of June and July tuition fees by private schools, has asked the Private Institutions Director General (DG) Dr Mansoob Siddiqui to intervene into the matter and resolve it promptly.
Private schools have started collecting fees for the months of June and July in advance due to which parents are facing problems.
Dr Mansoob Siddiqui informed the minister that the private schools might collect the fee for June and July before the commencement of the summer vacations.
He said, however, private schools are entitled to collect tuition fees till March from the students who are appearing in their matriculation exams this year.
Mehtab assured the parents and the students that his department will keep their interest as a top priority and also asked the management of private schools to provide relief to the parents.
