Dir police apprehends 42 criminals, seize 29 Kg hashish in 2017


DIR LOWER: The district Lower Dir police have apprehended 42 proclaimed offenders and seized 29-kilograms of hashish in an operation against outlaws and narcotics dealers during 2017, said Khal Police Station SHO here on Wednesday.

Briefing the media, SHO Yunas Rehman said that a special campaign has been launched in the district on the directives of DPO Nosher Khan and Timergara DSP Sher Wali Khan.

Police also seized seven Kalashnikovs, ten rifles, fifteen guns and eighteen pistols, he informed.

He said that cases have been registered against them in the respective police stations of the district and added that the district has been purged narcotics dealers.
