ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division’s Central Selection Board (CSB) has recommended Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to promote thirty officers of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) to grade-21.
The CSB meeting held under the chair of Chairman Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Naveed Akram Cheema on Wednesday (second day) in which the promotion body recommended to promote thirty officers of PAS and one officer of information group to BS-21.
Sources told Pakistan Today that CSB recommended promoting Islamabad Commissioner Zulfqar Haidar, Utility Store Cooperation Managing Director Mather Nayaz Rana, Waseem Mukhtar, Asif Haidar Shah, Imdad Ullah Bosal, Dr Kazim Nayaz, Qaisar Majeed, Javed Akbar, Akhtar Nazir, Waheedud Din, Farhan Aziz, Raheel Saddique, Kamran Afzal, Arif Anwar Baloch, Muhammad Saleem, Sadiq Shiekh, Shiekh Esrat Ali, Abdul Jabber,Fazeel Asghar, Muhammad Asif, Imran Nasir, Ijaz Ahmad, Khan and Dr Tenveer Quershi.
In addition to this, the board recommended giving BS-21 to Iftikhar Ali Shelwani, Abdul Jabbar, Shaheen Masood, Main Sher Alam, Masood Sohail Rajpoot, Dr Arshad Mehmood and Ambreen Raza as well.
Moreover, the CSB also recommended PM Abbasi to promote Tahir Khushnood from grade-20 to grade-21, additionally, five information group officers has also been recommended for promotion to grade-20.
The officers are Sultana Rizvi, Sohail Ali Khan, Samina Noor, Dr Najeeb Khan and Qamar Basher. The sources further said that the CSB deferred the promotion of some of Commerce and Trade group officers as the commerce secretary was instructed to revisit on Friday.
The board will on Thursday (today) deliberate the promotional cases of Audit and Accounts group officers, Inland Revenue Division, Ministry of Railway officers and Planning Commission.
