Smuggling bids foiled, two held in Peshawar


PESHAWAR: The security forces foiled drugs smuggling bids and arrested two during separate actions in different areas of the provincial capital on Monday.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) during action at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar, recovered 150 heroin filled capsules (390gm ice heroin) from the stomach of a passenger leaving for Sharjah through a private airline flight.

Another drugs pusher identified as Jehanzeb was held after recovery of two kilogram of hashish during search of a vehicle at Motorway Toll Plaza in Peshawar.

ANF launched two separate investigations after the arrests.
