Acting by application of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the court has ordered the blocking of access to the websites and accounts which were found to be disseminating extremist and terrorist information, the report specified.
In particular, the report mentioned the websites of Hizb ut-Tahrir-al-Islami, the Taliban, the Islamic State and other organizations whose activities are banned in the republic.
The heightened attention of the Prosecutor General’s Office is focused on the use of the Internet by various radical movements and organizations for propagandizing the ideology of extremism and terrorism, as well as the recruitment of mercenaries for participation in armed conflicts, according to the report.
